Today my twenty students took the BC Calculus test. They report to me that the tests as easy, and that they are sure that they did well. We’ll see in July…
My son Mike and I are working hard on our course on Teaching in the 21st Century. We got some good advice from my son-in-law, about creating a personal learning network.
It is so important to have a cohort to discuss new ideas with. It is also helpful to have a way to keep abreast of what’s coming (I like Zite), and to keep trying new things. What doesn’t work can be discarded, or shelved for another day.
These are exciting times for education, and one of the keys is trying to meet our students where they live.
